2. underarm waxing
3. get that pair of pearl anthology flats i've been drooling over since last week
4. pay my derma a visit
5. get 5 bottles of wine and a few bottles of beer
6. buy loads of cat food (we're talking about 12kg sacks here!)

we had our first practice today with our choreographer. it was oodles of fun trying out something new. he's so stiff at dancing he makes me laugh so hard, but he's very cute as he tries his best to remember the steps and do it naturally.

our schengen visas got approved yesterday and joel collected our passports with them shiny stickies. one down and another to go- we went this morning to embassy of switzerland (spiffy office, i must add) to submit our application. well they didn't give us a hard time, although i had to make another trip back since joel's schengen visa had a typo ( Read more... )

lin dan! he brought down the house with his superb badminton skills against malaysia's lee chong wei and i'm disappointed. of course i'm rooting for chong wei (world #2) but lin dan (world #1) is just too strong for him. but an olympic silver medal for badminton men's singles isn't too bad for malaysia, isn't it?

finally saw the much talked about 4 x 100m men's freestyle race just now and can i just say it was absolutely fantastic watching these great swimmers battle it out for first place. it was that intense! i truly am enjoying the olympics because it's amazing to see what humans could do with their bodies. i'm in awe. i really am ( Read more... )
